HoneyB success as an ecosystem depends on the success of both startups and talent.
Our objective is to help all our members reach their objectives and have a great experience doing so.
Hives post projects they need help with and Bees offer their services.
The work, price and other aspects are left for both parties to decide.
Working in startup mode is complex and it is normal that in some cases misunderstandings and disagreements arise between startups and the talent working with them.
When a project starts, the statement of work defines the deliverable and the cost in Nectar.
HoneyB will freeze the appropriate Nectars from the Hive account to ensure the Hive can pay for the service.
If the work is done and both parties agree. The Nectars are transferred to the Bee.
If a dispute incurs, HoneyB will listen to both parties and decide the outcome which could be no payment, a full payment or a partial payment to the Bee.
HoneyB is currently focused on solving the talent funding and finding problem for startups.
In the future we might provide additional cash funding to pay for other expenses. For now we expect startups to find this funding themselves.
If you received more funding than 500,000$ before joining HoneyB and think the Standard Deal is not providing the right valuation for your startup, we can review the valuation.
Of course the higher the valuation of your startup the higher the expectation we would have to approve you into HoneyB.
You can sell Nectars to other Bees or Hives. In order to maintain the intergrity of the community and comply with securities regulations Nectar cannot be sold to external parties.
HoneyB is not a source of short term revenue. While working with HoneyB you are earning equity in a portfolio of startups. The return on this portfolio involves risk and will take time to materialize and it should not your main source of income.
The flexibility of HoneyB allows you to work on it when you have free time: between jobs, during week-ends, etc. You can decide to spend a few hours a week or blocks of weeks, whatever works for you.
